Red Sox fans are coming off as small in this thread. The Yankees are playing within the rules of baseball. Go cry a river to the commish.

I am all for a salary cap. It would make things less expensive for Yankee fans. And if history is any guide, it wouldn't slow the Yankees down any.

Rivera

Chamberlain

Hughes

Jeter

Cano

Pettitte

Melky

Gardner

Coke

Posada

Not a bad little foundation of homegrown talent. Any way you slice it, the Yankees just won a World Series though. So as Brian Cashman said, "Call them World Champions".

Doubtful. Teix seemed pretty convincing that he was a life long Yankee fan.

Seriously? Compared to Yankee Nation that is sitting with arms folded and backs turned to the argument going, "uh uh...it ain't because of the money."

How many homeruns become singles when they clank off the Green Monster?

:hand:

Seriously? How many pop-ups turn into singles and doubles because of the ****ing monster. How many foul balls turn into doubles and HRs because of the "Pesky Pole?"

You mean the new park which has the identical field dimensions as the old park?

What does this have to with anything? Short of a perfect replica being dumped in the same exact spot and home plate facing the same exact way, your point is not valid.

And the new Skankee Stadium gives up 2Bs and 3Bs for HRs so their geriatric players do not pull a hammy.

Those are 2009 World Series Champ geriatric players

Because the Sawx certainly don't have their fair share of productive geriatric Sawx, like

Tek

Lowell

Fatty Ortiz

no, dip****, read to achieve. if you don't bother even trying to understand what park factors are then dont bother opening your mouth.

Why don't you take your own advice idiot.

Above or below 1.000 favors the hitter or pitcher respectively.

Care to translate what that means for the Yankees' 1.261 HR mark?

It means that park favors the hitter.
