Jimmy 2 Times 2,288 #11 Posted March 8, 2005 that's was the best reality show. ever. should've gone 7 rounds instead of 5. it's too tough to come back in only five rounds. does anyone know if a fighter can fight two weeks in a row if they get challenged the next week? They didn't say but I am assuming the answer is NO. Great show. I found myself rooting for the West.

Green Jets & Ham 653 #17 Posted March 8, 2005 BTW, how friggin great was Sugar Ray Leonard? These young guys who think cats like Roy Jones were great have no idea ... Sugar Ray would have made mince-meat of Roy Jones and Bernard Hopkins, and both in the same nite Floyd Mayweather? ... Sugar would have demolished him, same as he did to his pops {or uncle?}

Sugar would have demolished him, same as he did to his pops {or uncle?} I liked when Sugar Ray told the kid who was letting the smack talk get to him. He said hey I was the best in the world at doing that, besides ALI. He caught himself! Ali invented SMACK for crying out loud!

He caught himself! Ali invented SMACK for crying out loud! Yeah that part was cool ... I noticed that too ... he quickly caught himself and said "besides Ali" Those young guys have to be in awe of Sugar Ray Leonard, right? I mean, they have to know they are in the presense of a boxing immortal?
Maxman 538,541 #20 Posted March 8, 2005 Yeah that part was cool ... I noticed that too ... he quickly caught himself and said "besides Ali" Those young guys have to be in awe of Sugar Ray Leonard, right? I mean, they have to know they are in the presense of a boxing immortal? I am not sure about that. They seemed in awe of Sly more than anything else! Funny, they were busting on Sly for his bad movies, Oscar etc. Then talking about Over The Top. I am a huge Stallone fan myself. But you think these kids would be more interested in actually getting knowledge from Sugar Ray... The dude that won last night was a pretty nig puncher. I think he won the fight in Round One, because he got in the other kids head.
MiamiJet 81 #21 Posted March 8, 2005 I am not a big reality show fan, in fact, I hate the stuff, but this show has my interest. I couldn't watch it last night, though since I was at the Heat game. Any chance they will repeat the episode?

Maxman 538,541 #24 Posted March 8, 2005 Guys the show is on Thursday night and again on Sunday. I don't think Monday is the regular slot. Last night they only profiled a few guys. So it is not too late to catch up!
