People I know who move to Florida say its worse than they expected and people who move to Alabama say its a lot better than they expected. Just saying, I don't see why he would move. Couldn't that be a matter of hype? When Florida is seen as a haven for low-property-tax seeking retired folks and Alabama is seen as a giant redneck jamboree where the Confederate flag, Lynyrd Skynyrd, no reading and incest are the extent of reality, of COURSE Florida will be "worse than expected" and Alabama will be "better than expected".
