YJF Posted March 8, 2005 Share Posted March 8, 2005 I remember how badly Parcells wanted Dilger when he was with The Jets. 7 years ago, Dilger was an excellent TE. Big, Strong, Reliable Hands. Dilger was as solid as they come. He's fallen off big since then. These big bruising TE's who do all the dirty work. That type of job takes it's toll on these types of players. Dilger is still a decent TE but he's not what he used to be. He's been breaking down alot the last few seasons. You can tell, He's a different player.
