Between the conditions and the score there was no reason to throw a pass all 2nd half. Game situations dictate the plays you call. Otherwise you get an idiot like Joe Theissmann saying "If team X runs the ball 30+ times they will win." No dumbass, they run the ball 30+ because they are in a position to do so later in the game by having a lead. It's the idea as to why so many 300+ yard passers are on the losing side of a football game; teams that are behind have to throw the ball all 2nd half.
