I guess you weren't watching the game because they could not stop our run and we have no reason to throw.
Also Braylon Edwards by himself dropped 14 points and 65 yards of passing. Between the conditions and the score there was no reason to throw a pass all 2nd half. Game situations dictate the plays you call. Otherwise you get an idiot like Joe Theissmann saying "If team X runs the ball 30+ times they will win." No dumbass, they run the ball 30+ because they are in a position to do so later in the game by having a lead. It's the idea as to why so many 300+ yard passers are on the losing side of a football game; teams that are behind have to throw the ball all 2nd half. Football stats don't lie, but they aren't the whole truth either.
