Francessa shuts up Jets fans for saying virtually anything, calls them crazy, etc. But now a caller calls in and says that "no doubt the Colts will beat the Jets about 43-0 or so" And Francessa lets the guy give an entire rant about it. 43-0? Its not about the quality of the content discussed on his program, its about the ratings. People tune in for train wrecks, they tune in for violence, they tune in for arguments... rose colored glasses does NOT generate ratings in the tri-state area. Francessa isn't really the problem, the listeners are. He is a product of what the masses are willing to pay attention to. It's the same premise as Bill O'Reilly... most of his viewers are NOT fans of his, they tune in to yell at the TV and write in, only to then be mocked by him on air. Maybe their fans, but the players/coaches front office people have changed so much in his career, it doesn't make sense. not saying you are wrong, just wondering if that's verifiable Sure it makes sense. Is because the curse is over, the Curse started on us when we moved into Giant Stadium a stadium with another teams name on it, other then our's.
