yes. by doing a thread search on 'SJ Review' going back years (see below)

Many of my reviews are for Indies, not mainstream.. I loved Revolver, pans also..syn was my least fav hoffman flick..

I dont watch DVDs,,rarely,,

I go to theater 2/3 times a week.

You definitly like edgy based on above..hopefully you have some good Indie theaters near you. Go to them.

Single Man (Colin Firth, one of my fav actors) and Broken Embraces (Penelope Cruz, edgy, especially in Spanish flicks) are up at most Indie houses this week.. I will be seeing those two along with maybe Daybreakers based on 124s suggestion.

Just a few that I know are on there:

Sin Nombre

Gomorrah

Sunshine Cleaning

Cocaine Cowboys

The King of Kong

My Netflix streaming is mostly used for kids stuff, however. Plenty of Scooby Doo movies on there, if you're interested.

The King of Kong is in my instant queue but my wife keeps picking stuff further down the list. :D

I have to watch films like that on my iPod during my commute, or I'd never get to watch them. I've literally watched 100's of things on the train that I'd never have otherwise seen... it's one of the few upsides of not having a short drive to work.
