Brett Favre says Hey Ya'll.

LOL.

If you don't understand the difference between:

1) The egomaniac Favre keeping injuries to himself vs. Belichick forcing an unwilling guy to play

and

2) A shoulder injury vs. a brain injury

Then you are an even blinder homer than any of us could have imagined

Forced? He held a gun to his head? Told him he would be cut?

As one of his teamates said when this came out, Ted Johnson should have said no. He was not some undrafted rookie FA. He was entering his 8th year with a huge contract. He was pretty much uncutable.

And the troubled person that was Ted Johnson came to light during this incident. After being so concerned with his health by being 'forced' to play. He pitched a fit and threatened to retire when he was made inactive for the opening game three weeks later.

Spin it Homer. http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=4462072

Favre, now with the Minnesota Vikings, said earlier this week he thought he was hurting the Jets because of the injury and discussed it with the coaches and the front office. He said he would have been willing to sit out, even though that would have ended his streak of consecutive starts, which now stands at 269 games
