docdhc
Can someone explain this. We have had a consistently good kicker for the past two years. He was clutch when needed, he even punted well when called on during the playoffs, and we go and sign a head case that was cut by the Cowboys. Is it Feely's politics? I know he is conservative, especially for the NFL, and some of his tweets have gotten him in trouble, but the guy has done everything asked of him for the last 2 years. A bad kicker can really hurt a team when it counts and I just don't get not resigning this guy.

We signed Nick Folk who is real young and who was a flat out stud his first 2 years before falling apart this past year. He was second all time in FG percengtage before having as bad a year as a kicker can have. At worst it gives you a viable option if we don't sign Feely. At best it gives us a young kicker who for 2 years was as good as anybody in the league.

The Giants dumped him because he kept on squawking.
Lil Bit Special
Why haven't we signed Jay Feely For all we know, he could be sitting on the Jets offer until he's ready to sign.
