"I think the Bears offer a very good situation," Fiedler said. "It's a good up and coming team with a very good nucleus of players. I got a very good impression from everyone. It seems to be a high character organization." "My health is good," Fiedler said. "I went through the physical (Tuesday, March 8) and I got clearance from all the (Chicago Bears') doctors. I'm feeling good. The symptoms have all passed and I'm ready to go out and play football." Fiedler was visiting the Bears, who are seeking a veteran backup quarterback this year.
