Jbro22
Saw this on ESPN, the guy to his left can hardly control himself. He's covering his mouth as he's laughing.

I know...makes it that much funnier. LOL The worst part is the composite sticks he's tearing out of the players hands go anywhere from $120-$220. My question to you is was it always that expensive or did that happen when Warrior got involved in hockey. I worked at a lacrosse retail store and we'd get the stuff for a couple of dollars and sell it for like 75$.

I worked at a lacrosse retail store and we'd get the stuff for a couple of dollars and sell it for like 75$. The price on the sticks alone is absolutely absurd. I've looked at Easton & Warrior composites in the store going for over $200 and they all say the same thing, "Made In China". It sure seems Warrior's entry into the market drove the prices up. I use an Easton Synergy SE composite at about $60, I won't spend any more than that. Besides, a $200 stick isn't going to help my shot any more....I just need to practice more with my $60 stick. I have a good wrist shot, by my slap shot is hit and miss.

I would tell the rich lacrosse parents to stay away from the expensive stuff because its mostly gimmicky. But they would buy it anyway, only the best for their children. Guy must be a loose cannon all the time because the ting I noticed is the players barely flinch when he snatches their sticks and start smashing away. They look like its almost a normal occurence. Bruce Banner
I wish my name was Playfair. Instead I have some sucky name.

It looked more to me like the face my mom used to make when I jacked a pork chop off one of my brothers plate. Somethng most people would find odd, yet something normal for them. The Crusher
Wait. What? Sorry Bob. What I meant was the players had an awfully normal expression on their faces as their coach ripped their sticks out of their hands and started bashing them against the boards. Almost as if they seen it before.
