Question about tix 4 the new Yankee Stadium..

In the past, whenever I've gone to a game, it'd been through work so the seats were great and free.

I need to buy 6 tickets this year.. I'd prefer a night game. Anyone want to chime in on their experiences at the new stadium, where to get tix and what the best economical seats are?

thx!

Was there last Sept and bought tix through a broker in RI.

Honest guy and got as advertised.

But paid $200 each for row 17 in section 127B (3rd base side) which was double face cost.

Nice padded chairs, good seats, but not the greatest.

Best of luck.

Stub hub's an option but maybe Craig's list to avoid the really greedy peeps?

I'm think I'm debating between bleacher seats (201-203) and upper deck behind home plate (422-418). I don't want to pay a lot for tix. I really just want the stadium experience.

I have found the 200's down either line to be the best value. That being said you are going to pay for any seats in the stadium unfortunately.

Instead of six seats just buy two. Crusher and I can't make it that day.

Check the Yanks' website from time to time, because if they have slow sales on midweek games against non-Sawx or Mets games, they sometimes put those tickets on sale for half price. Got 4 tickets in left field corner of field level for half price last Sepetember vs. the Jays.

Otherwise check out craigs list.

I actually sent my resume to this company the other day http://seatgeek.com/

I had a monster-moment at work and found them through craigslist. You select what game you want to go to, and they tell you when the best time to buy tickets for it is. Apparently they do studies of how ticket prices go up and down on the stubhub type sites. Seemed pretty cool, never used it though. Figured I'd pass it on.
