There is a fine line between optimism and ridiculousness. Guess which side this falls on?

i think we'll lose games 2 and 3 to be honest...not a big fan of the pitching matchups. just hoping Lester starts off bad like last year.

why the fudge are the DEFENDING CHAMPS playing @ Fenway to start the season?

Tazawa needs TJ surgery. Not good. Dice-K is getting stretched out, but the Sox don't necessarily need him back right away.

We really have Brett Gardner starting at LF? Or is it because someone is on the DL?

Yankees win the world series and MLB has them open up ON THE ROAD...and at Fenway.

I like the Yanks to win it all but it sure as hell isn't going to be easy. Could be a race determined by one or two games. I'm more than happy to see them get Boston for the first series of the season on the road with the last (and potentially far more meaningful series) being at home. JMO.

Nope he's the starter for now. Randy Winn is waiting in the wings. I miss Damon already.

Lets get it on

Pedro, thanks for #27, now scram

Well look what the cat dragged in, it feels like Baseball season alright! :D

P.S. The MLB dropped the effin ball, why the hell did they have the WORLD CHAMPION NEW YORK YANKEES open up on the road and have a ring ceremony in a place as hostile as Fenway.

Good job by the bottom of the lineup getting to Beckett. They're teeing off on him here.

The Sox are no longer an intimidating team. The lineup is average at best.

Yet it is predicted to scored the 2nd or 3rd most runs in the American League. Weird.
