  1. 1. Would you rather win a superbowl with this clown or lose in the playoffs??

    • Win the superbowl with the clown
    • Lose in the playoffs without him

Win a superbowl with this jackass or lose in the playoffs again?? Now, I'm not saying he is the key to making us win the SB and without him we cannot, but it's an interesting point.

I hate the guy, every jets' fan hates the guy...with very good reason. He doesn't like us, he's made that pretty obvious. But as much as I hate the guy, winning a superbowl means more to me than holding a grudge.

So if you had two choices; Win a superbowl with him or lose without him, what would it be??

I would like to repeat, I don't think he is the sole factor in deciding our fate, but it's interesting to see whether people hold winning a SB higher or a long standing grudge.

I personally go to superbowl every day of the week and twice on sundays.

FIRST OF ALL ANYONE who thinks this guy is the key to the Super Bowl STOP rooting for the NYJETS here and now. Id rather draft a beast of a pass-rusher with the 1st round pick than accomodate this POS and his demands. IF hes signed I will support the decision the NYJETS made.

I'd rather there not be another thread about this...

But much to your disappointment here it is and here you are to comment ;) I get what ya mean, it gets annoying. I just wanted to air some things out, first and foremost, the most important thing to everyone on this board is seeing our Jets win a Super Bowl.

Rex Ryan came in and said he's changing the attitude, the look, the culture etc. If he feels that having Jason Taylor puts us in the best position to win a SB than I'm behind him. I still don't plan on liking the guy, but our teams success is more important than my personal hatred for him.

These hypotheticals are silly. If I was guaranteed signing him would bring a SB win and not signing him we would lose in the playoffs, of course I would want to sign him. Particularly with a washed up, eye mascara, fag like Taylor this hypothetical is even more absurd.

Now let's say I hated Julius Peppers, for some reason. Same question. Absolutely f#ckin YES!!!!

Who the **** says that a 36 year old OLB is the missing piece? Get real.

No one has said that, point of fact, I said that he wasn't the missing piece. As hess station alluded to, I was merely making a point that some people may have their priorities a little jumbled up.

Rex really hasn't steered us wrong since he's been here. Yes, we hate the guy, but should we really let our grudge/hatred for him trump the success he could help bring our team?? I will continue to dislike the man, but if he were to join our team, I'm gonna hope that he helps us win that championship.

Bryan Cox was an a-hole,a scumbag, a loudmouth.

Then he became a Jet. He played hard. He produced. He played with piss and vinegar and broke his ass. He was a gamer, playing one game with a broken leg. Argaubly he remains one of my favorite players all time. Heck, can barely blame the guy for going to the Pats because he was a gamer who didn't want to let go of his career until the last drop of gas was left in the tank.

If that's Taylor's template, I'm fine with it.

Any real fan is going to want the ring.

However, off the hypotheticals and on to reality...how many rings did the Phins win when they had the guy in his prime playing at a pro bowl level? Signing the A-hole doesn't guarentee a thing. If they sign that douchbag POS I'll deal with it but I'll just keep hoping it doesn't happen.
