GREENBEAN
I just heard from a miami fan from his message board/ blog that the trade seems probable at this time.
Jetfan13
looks like maybe Parcells is trying to gather a bunch of lower round pics to maybe try and move up tonight...#12 and a bunch of 3's and maybe a starter could maybe get them a higher 1st...maybe??? Aten
Good stuff. Draft impact is probably minimal unless San Diego has Joseph graded a lot closer to Mathews than I'd guess.
hoping4ASuperBowl
a 3rd for Ronnie?? Obviously this from a phin fan because their is so way brown is worth that price with all the injuries he has.
dolphann4life
Word is that Parcells and company is hell bent on acquiring a 2nd for Ronnie. Keep in mind Ronnie hasn't signed his tender yet. I would happily accept a 3rd round pick for a often injured RB who has an expiring contract is will turn 30 at seasons start.
SoFlaJets
has Ronnie Brown EVER played a full season?

hoping4ASuperBowl
has Ronnie Brown EVER played a full season? has Ronnie Brown ever ran for over 1k yards?.....oh wait, he did....ONCE! lets put this in perspective, a 3rd round pick for a 28 year old oft injured RB who has only eclipsed 1k yards in a season ONCE? riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiight. neckdemon
ronnie brown is a pretty damned good rb when he's healthy....unfortunately for him he's never been able to really stay healthy. a lis franc injury for a rb is not good. i can't imagine anyone giving up a 3rd round pick for him and a 2nd is a joke. but there have been dumber deals made so it wouldn't shock me too much. I was going to compare this to TJ, but, in all honesty it's not. TJ doesn't have an injury history, and if memory serves me correctly that draft was shallow, whereas this one is really deep. Ronnie is very explosive and productive when healthy though, that much is sure.
SoFlaJets
I'd say he is worth a 4th rounder and Miami would be crazy to trade him away for that
GREENBEAN
I'd say he is worth a 4th rounder and Miami would be crazy to trade him away for that The phins seem hell bent on getting younger. I think Ronie Brown would have more of a presence than any fourth rounder, but if they are trying to revamp their roster, it makes sense.
Biggs
A healthy Ronnie Brown on the Chargers would be a handful to deal with for any team. I would risk Shlegal for Brown in a heartbeat.

BroadwayJ667
More proof. The Dolphins are steering away from the wildcat. That is Henne's team now and they are going to be a passing team

That is Henne's team now and they are going to be a passing team They know we figured the wildcat out too. We absolutely crushed their offense the second game. They had nothing for our D. We lost due to... well we all know why. I think it would be stupid if they stuck to the wildcat being their bread and butter when their arch rival has it figured out. jetfan4hire
Ronnie Brown is a nice talent and very effective when healthy but we all know how often that has been. I cant see SD giving more than 4th for him considering the risk. If they do deal Brown i wonder how high they go in the draft in getting a replacement. Lex Hilliard looked good to me in limited duty last season for them but im not sure how they view him as a viable replacement
Obrien2Toon
I think a 3rd for R. Brown is a great deal. I think people are getting thrown off on what draft pick values are because of us getting Holmes for a 5th. Which was a ridiculous steal. Can we get rid of LT and give them a 4th and a 6th for him? Bruce Banner
The Wildcat won't work without Ronnie Brown. If the Fins trade him then I think that means that they are tired of running that offense and want to move on.
