Integrity28
Go away. Seriously, I cannot remember a draft where the coverage was this singular in focus on one player. I didn't mind the Thursday night start, and gaining back a weekend... but the coverage was the pits. All Tebow, all the time... Even NFL Network shoved the lame Primetime Deion interviews in our faces instead of telling us about the prospects. It was much more oriented to the Superbowl viewer (women and children), rather than the draftniks (football fans). No way this guy EVER plays up to this hype. villain_the_foe
Tebow does suck. He's not going to be successful. TEBOW DOESNT SUCK. HE'S GREATNESS! (Sarcasm). Seriously though, It did seem like he got alot of coverage, but you have to understand...the kid has been receiving alot of hate as well. Everyone saying that he cant make the transition, Jerry Jones talking shyte about him while drunk....even this very thread. For a guy that seems to suck he surely gets alot of hate/love. Just sayin. (never mind my avatar) Im rooting for him because he seems to receive such hate yet I've only seen this kid do right things.

Boozer76
Tebow is a very good kid, I can never dispute that. The problem is he plays a brand of football that alot of prior, failed, NFL QB prospects played. He makes poor reads, has an awful throwing motion, and poor footwork. He runs the ball well, but isn't phenominally fast. He gets alot of love (and hate) because he is religious and by all accounts clean. I hate to say it, but if he were a black prospect with the same phyisical attributes and no religious ties we'd be talking about him playing TE without batting an eyelash. It all comes down to the team that signed him and what they expect they can do with him. Ill bet he can play QB better than Jamarcus right now and he was the number 1 pick in the draft. SMC
I wish Tebow the best of luck. I wonder who his HC is going to be by the time the team is willing to put him on the field. The Broncos had a bad draft last year and this year hasn't started well. They traded more talent AND picks (with Tebow move). They went 2-8 after starting 6-0. McDumbass is not long for the HC job. Smashmouth
vince young? Only difference is Vince young made his adjustment his last year of college and started to really improve his release and complention percentage . Tebow just played the way he fit in the offense and didnt bother to make changes in his game until after college. he seems to be a quick learner and im not sure he will be hard to teach at all. Sometimes small mechanic issues (throwing) are harder to correct than the big ones.

It seems they are going to give him at least 3 or 4 years to get this team to SB contention. Just by the moves they have made dictates that. If Tebow is not ready in that time span he probably never will be. Whats weird about this situation is if Tebow is a 2-4 Year project to play QB wont that be happening right when the team is ready to contend ? So will McDUmbass be replacing his QB with Tebow at the same time his team is ready to contend ?

Any time people talk about converting a black QB there are accusations of racism. But when you convert white QBs no one cares at all. Eric Crouch won the Heisman and no one batted an eyelash when he was converted to safety.
Irish Jet
I like Tebow a lot. Why does he get so much coverage? I dunno, maybe because he was one of the greatest college CB's of all time! He's an absolute warrior on the field, in ways Chad Pennington can't even imagine and physically he is a beast. The mechanics are a huge problem that he'll have to overcome but like JiF said I wouldn't bet against him. He does all the right things and yet gets some serious stick simply because he's religious? Wow.

124
Tim Tebow makes you hate religion and virgins. When God drifts down and you can actually see him take your arm and make you throw a 40 yard TD pass, then lets thank him all the time after games and such. Until then, STFU.
