Biggest steal of the entire draft?

Considering how well first-round interior linemen tend to do and that we got our second choice at 29 a full round later it could be Ducasse.
True that, and I did hear a report they were on the phone with him in round one, when Wilson fell in their lap.

Good insight you had on that Rotoworld thing the other day, I should have never doubted the prohet Aten. ;)

Amazing that we did not have to trade up for Vlady in the 2nd round either, talk about things going your way, huh.

Still no respect for Jimmy Clausen.

Everything people are saying about Clausen now was said when he was coming out of high school and he excelled in college. I live in the West Coast and heard all these things about him before. In high school they said he was being carried by running back Marc Tyler. Then they both go to college and Clausen excels and Tyler disappears. Now they are saying he was being carried by Golden Tate.

In high school they said he was a douche, with no real evidence, and that USC and UCLA were staying away from him because of that. He went on to excel in college. Now the same douche rumors are coming up and teams stayed away from him in the draft. I expect him to continue the pattern and excel in the pros.

Coming out of high school he was criticized for his dad hiring private QB coaches and it was said he peaked early because of good coaching. Now people are saying he benefited from the mighty Charlie Weiss and has peaked. We'll see.

As you can see, I am picking Clausen as the steal of the draft.

EDIT: changed "the pros" to college. cuz.

Clausen is going to be good...I get that he rubs people the wrong way but Joe Montana and many other great QBs were d*cks and idiots...these guys are still only human in the end.

Hardy in the 6th is a steal too.

Dominique Franks in the 5th was a nice pickup for the Falcons.

Cody is the 2nd is going to pay off huge for the Ravens Imo...

I have no idea whether that's a good thing. That we were prepared to settle for the guy at 29 but not to move up from 61 to get him doesn't make a whole lot of sense.

Not for sure but Greg Hardy has top 10 talent and was a 6th round pick. If he stays healthy and continues to work hard he's going to be a monster in the NFL.

LOL You must have watched a game during Hardy's Soph. year at Ole Miss. He looked like the real deal back then but fell off the radar ever since. He's done diddly squat since then. VERY inconsistant and seems to be "going through the motions" a lot. And yes I realize he did have an injury last year. I think he has the potential and ability but just hasn't shown it. I wouldn't hold my breath waiting for it.

I'm almost curious enough about this to put in an appearance you-know-where and grill the resident decathlete/hatemonger about it. Almost. Anybody wanna take one for the team?
