joebabyny
Just putting the finishing touches on a website I did for a client, http://nyclittleitalytours.com/ , it's a company that gives these fun walking tours of the little italy area in NYC. I do a lot of my coding and writing between 11pm and 4am so sometimes I have a mistake here or there, if anyone sees anything lemme know. Also, please gimme your opinions, all are appreciated. Next up I am doing a portal for the Little Italy community, which reminds me, verde I need to square away with you in the morning, just got a check from them for costs. JerryK
Very professional, looks nice. I'm not from NYC, and to me the corner store + the 'tours' is reminicsent of Seinfeld. I dont' know if you intended that but I think it's a good thing...

slats
The website looks nice. Good luck to your client, though. I don't get tours of Little Italy. The neighborhood's teeny-tiny now, maybe a half-hour walk. I guess they've got a nice thing going with the food places they hit.

Yeah guys definitely check out the tour. It's worth it just for the stop at the cheese store. I shop in there all the time and the wait to get in can be forever, but the owner is pretty cool and will give you a mountain of info, and free samples, so its pretty cool. Actually its about an hour and a half, its bigger than just the 2-3 blocks everyone thinks of. They walk over to some sights on elizabeth street which is part of the old little italy and there is the italian american museum and stuff. And the only way to get to see the only catacombs in NYC is with this tour. I think the food and the native neighborhood people giving the tour is the selling point. Yeah, and at the end you get lunch and the tour guide is there to answer any questions about the neighborhood or whatever, some people like that stuff. As small as it has become, it really is one of the last true neighborhoods in manhattan. I lived there for 8 years and nowhere else in the city has that same feel. Maxman
Nice site! Look into the mm forms plugin for the contact us page. Been using it on some sites lately and I like it a lot.
war ensemble
The banner bothers me--it reminds me of WordArt. Everything else is nice, easy to find everything which is the main thing. Does your helping Sambuca's with this site = more cannolis this year?
Fatty_VM
Joe, on the first page here someone may have a bit of an issue with grammar. I don't know if you are also content provider as well as coding but... I am taking the quote ...This incite and wealth of information on one of New York’s most famous and infamous neighborhoods just can not be found in any tourist guide or walking tour offered by anyone else... By incite did you/they mean insight?
villain_the_foe
http://nyclittleitalytours.com/ All I saw was this, do I have a problem? How much for that tour? That would be paying for prostitution and is illegal in the State of New York. However there's plenty of ways to get it for free ya see...

I actually had to do all the copy for the site after interviewing them, but I do most work between 11pm-4am. Thanks for the catch.

joebabyny
Nice site! Look into the mm forms plugin for the contact us page. Been using it on some sites lately and I like it a lot. Check out gravity forms for Wordpress, you'll forget about the other one. To be honest when you are doing a site and putting your name on it you want all the bells and whistles. But sometimes a clients budget dictates cost cutting. Besides this client is very hands off so I just tried to keep it all simple.

Green DNA
All I saw was some nice sausages hanging, do I have a problem? They must have some kind of subliminal message in this tour and apparently it works.
