SoFlaJets
that new pad you're going to be drawing on is a huge leap in technology for what you're going to use it for. It's like the difference between recording music on a 4 track cassette to going digital

I've been drawing using vectors for years.. which is basically using points and bezier curves to get the shapes you want. I just hope it's not too much technology for what I need. I like doing both styles of art. Which tablet did you get? I was using the new Wacom touch screen tablet at the comicon and that thing is sweet. A little pricey, but sweet. IMO, I prefer traditional graphics and colour separations, but Use Illustrator more often than anything.
