Quickly sets up off the snap, gets his hands into defenders, and steers them from their angle of attack. Patient, has above- average footwork off the edge, and uses terrific body positioning to seal defenders from the action. Stays square and effectively fights with his hands. Negatives: Lacks a dominant base and overpowered by large defenders. Must improve his playing balance. Not a natural knee bender. Analysis: Kia is an adequate prospect whose game has been on the upswing the past two seasons. He must add bulk to his frame while keeping in place the ability to move in space. Undrafted Free Agent steal for the niners: Aaron Kia - "Offensive lineman Aaron Kia also turned in an impressive performance. Kia weighed just over 280-pounds then timed as fast as 5-flat in the 40 and posted a vertical jump of 35-inches. He was fluid and moved well in drills. The guy says he can snap and play the interior. He couldn't have been too much of an UDFA steal for the Niners if they didn't sign him. How many teams are zone blocking now?
