My 1st time flying Jet Blue

And so far the experience is great. Boarding in about 20 minutes and I am loving the free JetBlue wifi hotspot. Didn't pay to check my bag. Not bad and I am looking forward to some DirecTV on the flight. Even have plenty of electrical outlets in the terminal.

I did make a bonehead move. Left a PC toolkit in my carry on. Getting pulled out of the line for the extra screening = always fun. Shocked they let me keep it though. Just told me to check it the next time.

I forgot I had a cat-5 crimper in my laptop bag once and security freaked. Had to check it.

I'm interested in Jetblue, but sort of nervous. The cheap airlines with lots of gizmos seem to start great then lose a plane in the everglades...then they go under. I cant fly them anyhow because they don't come to michigan.

Jetblue has to be around for atleast 10 years now.

JetBlue is now my preferred carrier.

I used to bounce back and forth between NY and Indy, and built up a lot of US Airways miles... but they suck.

Now, I try to go out of my way to built up miles on JetBlue - so I can cash them in each year for flights to any of the many Caribbean destinations they fly to.

Space. Service. TV. Destinations.

They work best for me, hands down.

Continental has direct tv -- too bad it's broke most of the time.

That is funny for a few reasons. I always fly Continental. This flight was from Newark to Houston. And I guess since Continental owns the air space in between the flight was close to $1,500 (I was booking at the last minute).

Went with JetBlue for a savings of over $1,000.

And:

My TV was broken. I watched the one next to me, the seat was empty...

Much nicer flying when you can watch TV the whole time.

I like JetBlue for everything mentioned above... plus the seats seem wider for my fat ass and feels like there is more leg room.

When I flew Continental and Southwest last year, I felt like I was crammed into my seat and couldnt move at all. Hated it.

I always fly to Las Vegas and I know what you mean. It's cramped as hell but I'm just looking for the cheapest direct flight. I went the 2 months after 9/11 and got a round trip ticket AND 5 nights at the Palace Station for $256. You can't beat that.

Can't beleive there hasn't been a mention of those blue potato chips they give out.

Easily the best potato chip I've ever eaten.

These

Look awful, taste awesome.

They were pretty good.

Quite the savings.

You could have used your toolkit to fix it.
