- If you thought this was about womens' rear ends, I can find no fault in thee.

- If you thought this was about mens' rear ends, you are Gay (not that there is anything wrong with that).

- If you don't know what these numbers mean, you are really Gay. Watch Pinks or read Motor Trend for GOD sakes! ;)

Sorry to say it friend, but the fact that this thread is not about womens' rear ends brings your own sexual preferences into question.

The classic GM 4:11. I knew lots of friends who coupled this with the 409 back in the day.

Ah, but that is my genius. I knew, only too well, that it is only a matter of time before this thread will be sabotaged and filled with hundreds of booty shots for me to savor that I don't have the time to collect myself. Boohoohahaha

A friend of mine back in HS had a 66 GTO with a 327/375 Vette engine and 4:11. He let me drive it once and I have had this fast car disease ever since. ;)

I considered posting said pictures myself, but then I realized it would just be easier to call you gay and leave the work to others.

4:11s are too low and terrible on fuel economy.

3:73 and 3:56 are good.

For towing, a 4:11 is great. Might even allow you to pull more with a smaller engine (and save fuel). In GM vehicles, I think you can determine your type via a vin-like sticker in the glove box.

I had a 64 ford fairlane with a 289 cobra engine. 4:56 gears. It was nuts. I was in second gear in my driveway. :D

I now have 3:73 in my mustang cobra. I think that is just about right.

Yeah, you start out in 2nd gear in those types of cars. Tires must have been hard to keep on that car and the motor must have been screaming on the highway.

Ford does a good job of pairing engines and drive trains.
