slats
Revis admitted that the team presented an offer to his agents last week. The Jets have also had preliminary contract discussions with Mangold
The Crusher
D Brick got that top 5 money, he's doing pretty well and will get his when it's time. Mangold was a 25th pick and needs to be taken care of sooner than later. Plus what Slats said.

Ferguson has another season on his contract. He

gangreenman
tanny will go back to his 2000 bag of tricks and have to pony up more guaranteed money than usual to offset total dollar value of the deal but it's a great problem to have, right ? and the best man in the NFL to handle the problem these are glory days fellas The Revis contract is going to be really funky, thats for sure. With the uncertainty of what the new CBA will bring, and Revis's request to be the highest paid CB in the league, theres got to be a LOT of incentive based money and some other screwy details involved in the proposal Tanny and Co. sent the Revis camp. The good news is that it is out there that the Jets are trying to get something done and aren't going back on their promise to him. Also, the Jets have all the leverage in the talks at this point, as they can still buyout the last 2 years of his contract if talks fail and now have enough depth behind Revis to play hardball if they feel Revis is being unreasonable. As for DBrick... With 2 years still left on his contract, and the uncertainty of a new CBA, and his age... He's playing this smart. He knows this is a big year for him as it is the 1st since his 2nd year that he hasnt had a perennial pro bowler next to him at LG. If he continues to improve this year and shows he's an elite LT. He's going to get paid. If not by the Jets, than by someone else when he hits the open market. I'm sure he would like to stay with NY, but no reason at all he should be making a stink about it now. SenorGato
He'll get signed in due time. There's really no rush with him as others have stated. No one with half a brain is letting a LT go just as he's entering his prime. Also, D'Brick is in the top tier of LTs in this league...Guess we'll have to wait for that hype to start in a couple years.
