My pick was Phoenix here but later in the day I heard Tim Donaghy say that L.A. would win and I also learned that Nash was guaranteeing a Suns win. Based on those two things I knew the Lakers would win and the game would not be worth watching. I didn't come back to make some pro-Lakers picks, though.

I don't like the Lakers. If I'm convinced they are going to win a game, then I'm going to find something else to do with my time then watch them play. Nash's guarantee further convinced me because the guy is no Joe Namath or Paul Westphal.

I have been bored by the nba this year. I tried to watch some of the playoffs and would find myself switching to a baseball game. Yes, to me, at least this year regular season baseball is better than playoff basketball. To each their own.
