LionelRichie
by all accounts the kid is going to be special. I am sure he will have a pretty tight pitch count and I know he is on a plan similar to Hughes where they try to gradually build innings over the next 2 years. expectations? faba
Been dominating in the minors- more mature since he pitched in college game- I want to see how he handles adversity for the first time in majors
Sharrow
Not surprised he's facing the Pirates. Could be an easy draw, plus it will bring fans to the park.

Otter
I hope he is as good as advertised. The Nats are building a pretty solid pitching rotation. Does anybody know when Wang is coming back?

Greenranger
They are really hyping this up. Its going to be on National TV and they're talking about it everywhere. And it'll all happen again next year when Harper comes up.
LWC611
While I am a Yankees fan, I do have tickets for the game tonight. It is about 4 blocks from the crib. Gotta to see a talent like that live....

He's not necessarily polished like Strasburg is after 3 years of college ball and several months of dominant minor league outings. Plus, its much harder to evaluate young hitters than young pitchers. Harper won't be up next year, IMO Harper is in the equivalent of his junior year in HS (he left HS early so he could get a GED and join the draft before graduating HS). He's not coming up in 2011
