Verde
Anyone who was considering an iphone but hesitated due to the ridiculous monthly data fee should go reinvestigate. They are offering better monthly rates for internet usage. A very good move, imo.
rillo
With all the features that were unveiled today curious to see how these data plan will work. Video chat is wi-fi only, so is Netflix I believe.

A click of a button can change all of that.
war ensemble
It's half price if you use under 200 MB, but that only covers a bit over half. It's back to the $30 if you go 200 MB over. The $25 plan will cover almost everyone and the overages are pretty fair on that, but it's only $5 cheaper. And isn't the iPad not contract-less any more or something? The overages combined with tethering will cost hardcore users a lot, even if it's being grandfathered in. I'd rather have the EVO with 4G, bigger screen, better internals, etc running Android with similar contract prices over the iPhone 4. Although hopefully that pixel density or something similar becomes standard (a pixel density at which one can't recognize the difference, Apple's might be overkill I don't know). Having video calls over WiFi only blows, btw.

rillo
Read somewhere Netflix can be used on ATT network I doubt AT&T can keep up with the demand on their data network.
