Miami will be better than the Pats. Years of poor player evaluation, both in the draft and in free agency will finally take the Pats out of playoff contention. Marshall and Dansby are great players, the Fins are for real. Parcells never fails to turn a team around.

Wow you guys are hella confindent lol. I dont see any team in the division winning more than 10 games. Theyre all just about evenly matched, good teams overall but with a few question marks and flaws. Plus the schedules are brutal. They play each other twice, plus Minneasota, Green Bay, Cincinnati, Baltimore, and Pittsburgh. Add the Colts and Chargers for New England. I think 10-6 wins the division, dunno who to pick, NE's schedule has me down on them so I'll take NY or Miami, which ever team stays healthy(healthier).

Jets...11-5

Pats...9-7

Bills...6-10

Dolphins...6-10

And I'm being generous with the fins...I think they are the most overrated team not just in the AFC East, but the entire NFL...but, I should be use to them being overrated...happens every year. Henne will prove one thing this year, he's got a big arm but nothing much after that.

Interesting opinion you have there. The Fins are overrated by who, may I ask?

The #s I saw http://www.sportsbook.com/livesports/indexmember.php?sportsname=football were NE & NY are +130, while Miami is +300. Meaning, the Pats and Jets are considered almost 2.5 times more likely to win the division than the Dolphins.

Whats interesting is that Miami is slated at 8.5 wins, while NE and NY are at 9.5 Even more interesting is that Miami is faded (-120) to the over, meaning if youre going to bet Miami over 8.5 you'll have to lay $120 to earn $100. Meanwhile, you can earn $100 on just a $100 bet if you choose Miami under 8.5 wins. Sounds like Vegas is wants to discourage Over bets on Miami, eh?

Now for the Jets. Again, they are at 9.5 wins, but unlike Miami, they are faded heavily to the under. A $100 bet on NY over 9.5 wins will earn you $115. But if you want to make $100 betting NY under 9.5 wins, you'll have to lay $135 to do it. Sounds like Vegas is encouraging bettors to take the Over, eh?

Back to the original point, if NY is 2.3 times more likely to win the division, then why are the win totals so close? Judging by those numbers, Im inclined to think that (in Vegas' estimation) Miami is underrated and NY is overrated, so Im interested to hear where you got the idea/opinion that itS the other way aroud.

BTW, since NY is @ 9.5 wins, EVERYONE in this board could make a killing with thier predictions .

You really believe Buffalo and Miami are equals? I could honestly see us spliting with Buffalo in our series but finishing with the same crappy record of 6-10 at the end of the year...NO.

So what's you're logic for having us finish worse this year, even though we've added Dansby and Marshall? And Henne was 7-6 last year.

I'm sure you're not biased at all in thinking the Fins are overrated and then Jets aren't though.

Plenty of teams have added talent and performed worse. It's far from impossible.

A healthy Dolphins team could probably win 6-8 games in 2010. They're more likely to win 5 games.

I know, Phin fans, you were already getting used to the daylight. Now it's going to be back to whatever dark place you go to when the Dolphins suck for a season or two.

Another Jets fan. Another extremely insightful team analysis. Shocking..

And you have provided what since you've been on this forum? By the way, I am curious as to what part of the country you live in?

Are you familiar with the "view all of X's posts" feature? You'll find my honest takes on the Jets, Dolphins too. Must read stuff man, must read.
