Leon is gone, he's being used as a bargaining chip by current Jets players, which is no surprise but what I don't understand is this: if players are really desperate for long-term security what is stopping them from learning something else from the leon lesson and taking out an injury policy as leon did? What these players do not understand is to get LONG term security, you have to give up a little bit of SHORT term gain. You can't get a long term deal that averages 16.2M a season, unless it's backweighted and the last 2 yrs are never going to be actually seen.
