JerryK
On my ship the indian/biker/cop/construction uniform was optional. You just wish you could've been a "gunner's mate".

NIGHT STALKER
I was in the Field Artillery. We had the biggest tubes around. "Tubes" from the battle ship New Jersey weren't exactly small. I will never forget that intel (there's a joke in there somewhere) didn't let us know one evening that the New Jersey was just off the coast of the South China Sea firing over our position...we thought it was incoming the entire night...sounded like Russian made 122mm rockets overhead.
