SouthernJet
'Salt'' is a throwback to the old fashioned spy, mole, assasinations, CIA , Kremlin etc etc type flicks. This flick ha sit all, and doe sit at 100MPH. It brings the cool espionage, secret moles, political plots to appease that crowd, while also adding in car chases, multiple weapons and stunts out the ying yang. Logic? There are holes a mile wide here, but who cares. Its a cool escape flick with US/Russia spy games along with the proverbial 'is she bad or isnt she bad' plotline. Basic plot is a CIA agent in Russian division, Angie, is all of a sudden named as a possible mole by a defecting Commie KGB guy. Mayhem ensues as Angie decides to be her own Judge and Jury. The cast is great with many seasoned character actors, but the heavy lifting is done by Angelina Jolie, Liev Schreiber, and Chiwetel Ejiofor, They all hit homeruns IMHO. A Great summer flick and well worth the time. Enjoy. 3 1/2's
