I just purchased one for my outside JETS party zone.Im going to mount it to wall under my patio and enclose it in a heated sealed box. It wont be in the rain or wind. visajets
The average crowd is 15 people, during the play-offs we had as many as 25. We have a wood fire and a propane heater when its cold. I enclose the patio also. Its the next best thing to being there. Cold beer, good food, friends and no line for the restroom or PSL fee.

I did & it's only good when it's dark out. I tried building a shade box around for afternoon viewing but I can't see anything. granted i'm pretty close to the equator & it's very bright outside

Its under a roof against the back wall. The TV actually looked great, way better than tube set ive been using. I guess if you put it out in the open I could see it not looking good. The screen also adjusts to light.

visajets
My contractor friend called this am hes getting the wood together for the TV box. As soon as its done I will try and post some pics. We are going to heat the box with 2-60watt light bulbs for the cold winter months. Nice addition to the JETS ZONE a 37" Vizio LCD TV (wife wouldnt let me spend the money on a Samsung)
bitonti
the light bulbs to heat the set up is pretty ingenious. that would be my biggest fear.. the cold...
visajets
the light bulbs to heat the set up is pretty ingenious. that would be my biggest fear.. the cold... 2 60 watt bulbs 1 on each side near the bottom, that and the hd cable box should be enough heat to protect the set in a fully enclosed sealed box.Im also gonna vent it at the top.Hope it works and will advise.
