Isn`t Laury the special teams ace that I`ve heard positive things about? no way he goes, but if Scott or Harris went down I`d be quite worried over who comes in.

Hopefully Westerman can develop into something this year, or maybe even Gholston could play inside? he might like being surrounded by players rather than exposed, by keeping himself in a nice safe circle of Jets he could minimize the risk of hurting himself.

We should try him at TE, as long as he could catch the ball and not be scared of it, he could then use his world class and legendary ability to avoid contact and ghost into the

endzone untouched each time, which is a bit of a crap pun, the person who washes his kit must be well happy at the end of each game, probably spends a lot on Febreeze though.

Wonder why he left Basped out...not that he's a superstar but he's still on the roster according tot he website and is a definite sleeper to make the team or at least should get a PS invite.

everyone's focusing on Basped but he's a ps'er at best. Reamer is the UDFA most likely to make the roster, JMO.

The reason Cimini missed that info is because the only thing he's been following on the team are the contract issues that he talks about 17 times a day. Anything else going on with the team he's completely clueless about.

Lance Laury didn't look good enough on special teams to keep for just that. I say dump him and give his spot to a young guy. Roll the dice on someone new.

I know 3-4 linebackers need to be bigger but I wish they had just one small fast LBer who can cover because sooner or later you need that. Bart Scott was supposed to be an ace in coverage, I don't think he lived up to that.

Id agree except that Basped is enough of a physical talent to where he may not clear the initial set of waivers if he looks respectable in camp. I think those type of players make the squad for a few days, maybe even the full week, and then get waived. Teams dont seem as active during the season in claiming waived players as they do during the 1st week of September.

he is a talent... and he could make it... but he also has an injury history... OLB is deeper than ILB, it's just a tough position to make on this team.

Yet he had Satele on there. Strange considering Basped was an initial signing while Satele went to the Raiders and was signed off a try-out in May. He probably remembers Satele because of the articles about Samoans and his cousin.

Why do you say Laury didn't look good enough on ST? I haven't seen anything on him yet. Do you mean with the Seahawks? I think the team uses Ihedigbo in the role you are looking for in a LB and I think I'd rather have Ihedigbo than Reamer.

I agree with this. If he looks good he'll probably stick. This is the kind of guy I will regret losing if the team carries 4 or 5 QBs.

He lists Westerman at OLB, but I think he spent most of last season at ILB. I'm pretty sure that Westerman played both, but he should get a nod at ILB too.

This is Laury's second year on the team.

Yeah it's definitely tough to make the team at OLB, I just think he's got more long-term upside than most of the other UDFA's and a better shot to make the team/practice squad than a bunch of the bubble guys Cimini listed anyway at other positions. Could make his mark with some good ST play since there are so many vets on this team they'll need younger guys to play some special teams. Think they'll keep him around on the PS at least though.
