I agree almost 1/2 of his career is gone already

no way could he stay 2 more years and start when

he's 29..

Savage, odd that you mention that half of his career is almost gone already. How about Penny? He's almost 29 and hasn't completed a full season yet...

That is CRAZY.

You mean Lamont left a team heading into its prime to go to a hass been team just to start for LESS money?

I guess he really wanted to start. :)

Those numbers don't include the $15m+ bonuses he will receive.

The Jets offered Lamont. The richest contract for a backup RB ever.

Lamont wanted to start. It's that simple. He deserved the opportunity to start.

Glad he didn't sign with The Fish.

End of story. He's no longer a Jet. We need to get over it.

Blaylock was a very good signing. Jets don't need any RB's now.

BTW: YJF... nice to see you posting again. I thought we lost you there on JI during the latter half of the year.

Good to see you back. Can't wait for your breakdowns next year.

I agree. Plus Blaylock will be happier in NY IMO, just due to the fact that he'll get more playing time than if he stayed in K.C behind Priest Holmes and Larry Johnson. Overall, i gotta say that the Jets are not doing too bad this off-season.
