SouthernJet
'Get Low' is a true story currently playing at local Indie theaters. The cast of Bill Murray, Robert Duvall and Sissy Spacek is worth the price of admission alone. The premise is a old hermit in mountains decides to throw a Funeral for himself, whist he is still alive. The Hermit, Duvall enlist the services of eccentric himself, Funeral Director Murray. Duvalls only request is that you must tel la story about him at the service , whether good or bad. Needless to say we are drawn into a drama at times as there is a hidden secret that has psychologically overtaken Duvall and created the Hermit we know today. Its a wonderfully filmed film with country charm and a folksy 1920s look and feel that is captured beautifully. Its a quiet unassuming gem of a film that many will miss becasue its mainly playing at Indie houses and not mega-plexes. Enjoy. 3 1/2 's
