Jetsfan80
Two American keepers, Brad Friedel and Tim Howard, faced each other today. Friedel's Aston Villa squad defeated Tim Howard and Everton, 1-0. Everton is also the same squad that had Donovan on loan for 13 games, a period during which Donovan excelled. Yeah, we're getting there.
Irish Jet
Friedel might be the most underrated goalkeeper in the world. At least he has been for a while. He's been superb for Aston Villa and was for Blackburn before that. He was unbelievable again for Villa yesterday, that save of Saha was world class. As a United fan I hate when we go up against him, he's taken so many points off of us almost single handedly down the years. Howard is a good keeper too, he didn't quite cut it with United though, although not many keepers have. He's been great for Everton.

Alexi Lalas kept calling Howard one of the best keepers in the world during the World Cup, but then again he's a massive homer.
Otter
The Everton-Villa game was great to watch. Lots of chances and few great saves from both goalkeepers. Just read that Bob Bradley agreed to a four year contract to stay on as coach of the national team. I was hoping that we'd go in a different direction. It didn't work out too well when we extended Bruce Arena's contract.
