mark6sanchez
Now that T-rich is gone who is the leader of this Jet offense? Our QB is so green he still bites his nails in team meetings. Someone needs to step up! I don't think Shotty's high school speeches carries much weight inspiring the offense. Time will tell I hope for the best. Mangold and DBrick stepped up big time, they showed up in their contract walk year.

For better or worse - this is Mark Sanchez's team.

FRANK P
I CAN'T SEE HOW THE JETS ARE GOING TO RELY ON THE TERMINATOR TO BE THE LEAD BLOCKER IN THE RUNNING GAME; ALSO, CAN HE PICK UP BLITZES IF HE'S IN THERE ON PASSING DOWNS; ME THINKS T-RICH WILL BE BACK AFTER GAME 1 IF SOMEONE ELSE DOESN'T PICK HIM UP, WHICH I DON'T SEE HAPPENING ESPECIALLY AT HIS AGE

I hate this move after seeing them talking about no player being a leader on offense. Trich was the closest thing we have to that. Mangold and Brick are just docile personalities. LionelRichie
This may be the only way to stop Schott from motioning T-Rich out of the backfield and trying to fool defenses with him as a decoy. Maybe the only way to stop that formation was to cut T-Rich?
FRANK P
WAS LISTENING TO JODIE MAC ON ESPN RADIO & HE REPORTS A DEAL WAS IN THE WORKS, NOW THAT REVIS IS SIGNED, TO CUT ONE OF THE D-BACKS AND BRING BACK T-RICH
#27TheDominator
The training wheels are off. For better or worse - this is Mark Sanchez's team. They said that Eli couldn't lead a team. That guy is as big a geek as anyone and he was able to lead a super bowl team. According to some, Eli's problem was that with stong personalities (Shockey, Tiki) around he was pushed to the back. After they left it was his team. You've heard kind of the same thing from Rivers, who was never a wallflower, about LT leaving. As for Richardson, he was a FA all offseason and nobody signed him. I thought he signed for the vet minimum, so I'm not sure a pay cut is possible other than not having the contract guaranteed.
