28-37 and counting.

Just sayin.

This guy is the biggest retard in the NFL. John Fox is the only other moron close to him now that Herm is a broadcaster.

For those that don't know, Mangini has a beast of an RB in Jerome Harrison. This week he decided he would tell the world that Harrison would get the bulk of the carries and "a lot of work". Against the sh*tty Buccs, that would actually result in a 3 TD win probably. Last year Mangini hated to give Harrison work, every time Harrison got carries he'd respond with 200 yard 2 TD games, so Mangini would get angry and just bench him the next game. So Harrison wound up with something like 600 yards and 8 TDs over a 6 game stretch because Mangini would bench him every other game.

Of course, that meant he would do the opposite. He gave Harrison a total of 9 carries in the game. That was after watching him bust out over 40 yards on 3 carries. early on. He then happily ignored him for most of the game, and lost by 3 points.

Mangini would lose with Chris Johnson. I am absolutely serious. He would still be starting and using Lendale White. The Browns have enough talent to beat the Buccs handily, Reid is going to wind up firing Mangini by mid-season.

praise da lord for the lack of mangini in my life!

his mere presence made me constipated.

Absolutely - Tubby will have gone full circle and will be used only to go get Holmgren's pizza by mid season. Couldn't happen to a finer arrogant clueless jerk-off.

I guess they didn't "maximize the postivie plays and minimize the negative plays "

that was my favorite manginism

he might as well say we need to out score the opponent

You mean like "leading the league in wins"

On special teams, defense, and offense.

^^^ This. ^^^

I cannot believe that Mangini is so reluctant to put the ball in Harrison's hands... and content to champion JAGs like Peyton Hillis. Blows my mind. I think Harrison is in a contract year too... he should just run the dude into the ground and let him sign elsewhere next year, when they get Hardesty back.

Stupid.

One theory on why they kept Manstupid is to save money. His contract is guaranteed, I think they are still paying Crennel money and if they fired Manstupid they would be paying 3 coaches at once. I haven't double checked that, its just something I've heard. I know Mangini's contract was guaranteed but I don't know if he keeps getting payed after he takes a new job. I think the Jets didn't have to pay him last year because he had a new job, if he had stayed unemployed he would have been collecting Dale Gribble's money.

Another theory is Holmgren is waiting for Andy Reid to become available next year.

Anyway, if they fire Mangini I think Rob Ryan will be a strong contender for the head job. Then the media will have a new hot head to focus on and that will prolly help the Jets out.

So, you too have Harrison on your fantasy team?

28-38 and counting. But hey, he just needs time.

Watching the post game presser again, it seems that Mangini lost some weight again. I guess since last year screwed up the Good Fatgini/Bad Skingini theory he decided to drop a few pounds for this season. It's not working either.
