KSJets
I need a favor from my JetNation brothers and sisters... One of my coworkers has been going off lately and claiming Nnamdi was the better CB last year and the only stat he's going by was the amount of times they were thrown at. I tried to point out that Revis was lined up on the #1 wideout almost all game long but apparently if he doesn't see the stat on ESPN he does recognize it as valid. So I need some help here. I know there are stats' based sites out there that have comparisons of them with other numbers, but I can't seem to find them. All I find now are sites that have recent info like the holdout on them. Any help to put this guy in his place would be appreciated

Aten
I tried to point out that Revis was lined up on the #1 wideout almost all game long but apparently if he doesn't see the stat on ESPN he does recognize it as valid. Per FOA 2010, Revis was in man coverage on the #1 receiver 68% of the time, Nnamdi 50%. Pointless to compare the other numbers as they're totally skewed by rep and scheme. Any help to put this guy in his place would be appreciated This is an argument that is very difficult to decide using statistics. I say that because Revis will have had much better statistics than Nmandi last year due to the fact that teams actually tried to throw at Revis. No one ever throws at Nmandi. Why would they? The Raiders run defense has been terrible, as has their other Corners. Another difference is schematic; The Jets line Revis up one-on-one with the opposing team's best receiver almost every play, whereas Nmandi in past years lines up only on one side of the defense and does not necessarily cover the best receiver. Also, the Jets tended to double the #2 receiver a lot last season in hopes that teams would actually throw at Revis; a key difference between the Jets/Raider, Revis/Nmandi
