Take into mind all things. Sh*tty offensive coordinator, sh*t playcalling. From what I've seen from Mark is he has everything to be the guy. Great mechanics, scramble-ability, good arm, really good deep ball thrower, good accuracy, mentally "gets it" and smart with leadership qualities.

I think he possesses all these things. I think he can be, hopefully Schotty does destroy the guy.

Jets will be drafting a QB in the 1st round next year.

Eli had 4 yrs before the fans killed him, Sanchez only got 19 games. That's life.

Your already getting your racism excuse ready. But Giant fans took 4 years to stop hating Eli, not to start.

A better comparison would be to Kellen Clemens. Why didn't Jet fans give him all the breaks they give Sanchez everyday?

Or John David Booty. He had the same statistics and physical attributes as Sanchez. Why didn't they let him have a chance to be an NFL starter? Maybe its because he's Cajun.

Giants fans were killing Eli from day one. Caughlin simply ignored them. Eli wasn't liked by Giants fans going into the superbowl, he did not win their respect until he hoisted the Lombardi.

Regarding Sanchez rookie year.....

28th in the NFL in passer rating,

28th in yards per game

23rd in total yards

24th in TDs

29th in completion percentage

2nd for most interceptions

7th for most fumbles

Week 1 of year two doesn't seem to be much any better other than in turnovers.

He cant throw it down the field, we need a tall and strong armed quarterback not some panicking pussy whenever the defense sends someone. Hopefully he'll man up, take control of the offense like he said he was going to do in the offseason because monday night was the worst example of leadership ive ever seen.

While I've never been enthralled with him, I do believe Sanchez does have the talent to become an adequate NFL QB. One of the main reasons he is having difficulties is the extreme pressure of the situation he's in. Extremely high expectations from the fanbase, the constant scrutiny of the NY media, and most importantly - the handcuffs placed on him by the coaching staff are making it very tough for him to succeed. It will be amazing if he perseveres and eventually becomes decent. Thus, I voted no: too tall an order for him to pull off here.

How many draft picks could the Jets get for trading Sanchez now?

Not sure but he would fetch a freaking king's ransom at the gay man's bachelor auction.

Personally i said no because it seems he has digressed from last year and he seems like a freakin weak hearted pouting pussy of a little bitch on Hard knocks. more interested in flirting with Schotty playing practical jokes. His false bravado is annoying and he makes me depressed as hell.

OR.... Maybe it is Schotty and Sanchez may bounce back. I really don;t see it working while their both here. I h8t them.

If by "future" we actually mean a prolonged period of mediocrity then my vote is YES!

I wonder how good you guys would be with someone like Jeff Garcia or Brian Griese? Heck, I bet Brunnel would be more productive. It's strange, the 2nd best QB in the AFC East is currently the 2nd best QB on the Patriots roster and he was an undrafted rookie free agent last season. It's crazy how the rich get richer while teams like the Jets can never get over the hump.

From what I have seen Sanchez has all the tools to succed in the NFL except one thing whichbis very important pocket presence he panics in the pocket and wont stand tall in there. Until he learns to do this he will suck.

He needs to learn to step up in the pocket and quit sliding to his left or right.

This is QB 101 and he still doesn't get it.

Sanchez is gonna be good. Sanchez is not our problem right now. Schitty Schotty has to keep it simple & give him shots to beat the 8 men in the box. he will see 8-9 in the box week in & week out til he beats a defense focused on run & check downs. Sanchez can get no rythum going with no decent playcalling.

We have to move the chains & let our D rest at times. This is not all on Sanchez
