GREENBEAN
I nearly crapped myself. Well... I did, but it was a little while before the FG. He had a good game and I am happy thus far, but it seems to me this guy has the potential to slip right in to the heart attack type of player the Jets always seem to attract. I hope he can become more stable or I may die this season with everything else going on around here.

Greenranger
We should've signed The Nuge when we still had the chance.
SMC
LOFL The Jets offense was an abomination and you're worrying about Folk making FGs? Folk was the offensive MVP this game and unless Sanchez's balls descends any time soon Folk will continue to be the MVP.

Yeah cause if they can't get in the endzone they sure as hell gotta get field goals. The 2nd one, I think, he almost shanked and it was only about 30 yards. He's good on kickoffs but he's gotta scare you otherwise.
lamont_jordan_rules
... that 3rd kick did look like it was sailing wide right ... ... believe he got a lucky hook back in at the end ... not sure if he was playing it that way or not ... but it definitely wasn't pretty ... ... unfortunately it is also true that there were many worse things going on with our O that bump this down the list of concerns after week 1 ... l_j_r
visajets
If it wasnt for Nick Folk we would have lost 10-0.

Hmmmmm So if it's not the most important concern it can't be discussed? I see. My sincerest apologies. I had no idea the rules fell that way. Another Sanchez or Shotty sucks thread comin right up. SMC
Who cares if the kicks are "scary"? All that matters is that they were made. Folk could be scary the whole season and be money. A scary kick is not indicative if another will be hit or miss.

I'm not saying it was by design for sure, but a higher kick that comes down at the 10 can be more effective than a lower kick that comes down in the EZ
