whooosh

that sound was my point going over your head

I'm sure after a jets loss, you bring things up like "you can't predict what will happen this week based on last weeks result"

lol

whooosh

that sound was the point of this thread going over all the trolls heads

the idea is to give credit where credit is due and to take your lumps

lol

Hahah what a clown, nothing went over my head. Point is I am and have never been a troll here. I read but stay out of 99% of the threads here. The only reason I even jumped in this thread was its tittle. THUD! That's the sound of reality hitting you square in the chest.

I wouldn't expect any less, just as you'd be remiss to think Jets fans don't have good reason to be happy with our chances as well. Home or not, the Jets always get a strong showing of support when on the road in Miami and the fact is that the Jets defense has picked up right where they left off last year, which was more than good enough against the Dolphins in game 2 last year if not for 2 kickoff return TDs. Meanwhile, the Jets offense has a ton of potential that they've already started to cash in on. LT and Greene still allow the Jets to have a hell of a rushing attack and Sanchez and the Jets passing game have a lot of possibilities.

If you ask me, the Dolphins defense has done slightly better against inferior offensive talent while the Dolphins offense has done significantly worse against, at best, similar defensive talent. I'm feeling just fine about this game.

When we get to your second paragraph you and I could split arrows from here until the end of the season. I would be amiss if I said I have no doubt that we would win next Sunday. Bottom line is I expect a very physical game. Unlike what you got from the pats. We both same play the same style of football. Physical and in your face. The fact that it is a home night game gives me a much better feeling.

As I already said I really do like our chances.

Good game, congrats.

If the Dolphins win--absolutely. The Dolphins will be the undisputed leader in the AFCE.

If the Pats and Jets win next week....there will be a three way tie at the top of the AFCE with three teams being 2-1.

And us beating them both!

Agreed. I think unless something unexpected happens it's going to be a tight, physical game that will likely come down to a combination of turnovers and/or busted plays. The keys for the Jets will be the O getting in a rhythm and keeping the penalties under control. Won't be a much different scenario for Miami.

Technically the Jets would still be in first place at that point with head to head wins over both clubs, but obviously that means little with another game against each still coming later in the year.

you're kidding right??? you barely beat the lowly Bills but congrats on beating the Vikings with half the offense out.... 4 Favre turnovers and all you could muster was 14 points? I look forward to sharing first place with you after next week.

Why in the world would I be kidding with winning two road games. One against a division rival that well, beat us both last year and one against a team that came a play away from winning the NFC championship?

Jets two home games 1-1

Dolphins two road games 2-0.

Yes very impressive indeed.

In The League all that counts is the W, u r right..

Its a long season though and so far I would say Fish have taken advantage of 2 things to their credit. A easy Bills opponent and beat them and losing teh stats battle but beating a good Vikes team that imploded. You win when opportunit ypresents itself.

In Jets side, we have a solid W over a good Pats team, and we screwed the pooch by outplaying The Ravens but breaking a age sold Penalties record and still losing by a point. We screwed up for sure, but I TOOK solace in fact they basically were putrid and still lost by 1 to a team that is playoff bound. By beating Pats today I think the Ravens game may have been our 'crap' game all teams have once or twice aseason.

Next Sundays game will be a good one. I hope Revis is in there so there are no excuses. cool.gif

Good Luck.

And let the Phins/Jets sh*t talking begin.

I for one, don't know if I have te energy to listen to the fans of a team that went 1-1 at home to start the season, start talking tough like they just won two tough road games.

I for one am scared of the Jets. No I'm not.

Please tell me you just called a game against the Bills a "tough" game.

Fish fans are so stupid it's actually entertaining.

Please..go on..
