The Official "I'm Sorry Mark Sanchez" Thread

This guy got sh*t all over last week, and look at how he responded. While some blamed Schotty more than Sanchez, and some the other way around, nobody thought the kid played well or saw this coming.

The fact is that about a year and a half ago the Jets traded up to #5 overall and drafted him for days just like today. The Jets defense is having a hell of a game, but the Jets offense is setting the tempo and playing lights out, and it's all starting and ending with Sanchez today. When you figure it's against a division rival, specifically the Patriots, this is really WHY Sanchez is here.

Perhaps I'm gushing a bit with this thread, but I honestly can't remember the last time I've been this impressed with the performance of a Jets QB.

So Mark Sanchez, you are the man. And for everyone who doubted you... our bad! :D

He had an awesome game. The whole team did really. Except for mevis. lol. But, one game doesn't make a season and my question is, who was calling the plays???

I don't have to apologize to Sanchez...he didn't call in plays from the sideline last week. Schotty is still on watch because its another game that we didn't have a 300 yard passer. If he actually can keep a steady flow on play calling we can see what this offense is actually capable of

No. Please tell us and talk dirty to me.

Ok, here's what happened, slut. After Rex's post-game lockerroom speech and awarding a game-ball to Woody, they huddle up with TRich to do the "Home of the Jets", but before they do it, Sanchez chimes in with this:

"Hey, Remember what this feels like, right? Remember what this feels like! This is the beginning of something good. Remember it on Tuesday, on Wednesday, get your treatment. Let's ******* ball all year long! Let's go T-Rich!"

Maybe it's not a big deal, but I got a little wood from it.

Whore.

Oh god. I feel so satisfied. I need a cigarette.

Sanchez didn't have a bad game last week, the coaching staff did...

Meh, I still think the plan was right, the mistakes, the penalties they killed us.

We were playing to win that game by a score, which was understanable considering the nature of the two teams. And we would have won, had we not killed ourselves - Eg. Edwards not getting set, Wilson holding on 3rd and forever, Keller stepping out of bounds etc.

We threw the game away.

Oh penalities def. did kill us last week, on both sides of the ball, but Sanchez specifically wasn't even giving a chance to throw the ball, the play calling was horrific. I don't think you can label week 1 being a "bad performance" from Sanchez... he didn't do anything. Good or bad.

I know, but we could have won with that plan and with that pan you eliminate any chance of seeing the "bad" that cost us so many game last season. Simply put, the gameplan SHOULD have worked, it didn't because of bush league mistakes.
