BroadwayJoe12
the good news is that there's no such thing as a grade 2 tear They guy is probably just guessing, but there certainly are such things are grade 2 tears. They are based out of grades 1, 2, 3. Having seen hundreds of MRIs, there's no way to discern whether a player has a 1-3 simply by seeing him injur it or walk off the field. Bob is full of sh*t on this one and is just guessing. That having been said if he's out 5 weeks, he misses; Dolphins, Bills, Vikes, Broncos, BYE. I would say the only game he'd be truly truly missed would be the fins.

Ghost
Whether there is a such thing or not. There is no way to determine what type of tear it is without an MRI. It can't be determined any other way.

It can't be determined any other way. For the most part this is true. A grade 3 you can sometimes tell with pretty good certainty without an MRI; it's harder to walk without severe pain, there's lumping of muscle in the back of the leg, it starts to bruise etc. But what bob is stating is ridiculous, unless the team gave him an MRI in the training room and he somehow found out...which i highly doubt. THE ILK
Revis said he felt no different then he did before the game, it was just tightness. He also said, he's not sure if he will play next week. Revisites, can we believe him? We shall see...

There is no way Bob would know what it is. He is taking a swing in a dark room and hoping for a hit. And I still say someone had to report on the Revis deal first and he took credit for it. It didn't seem like it was bothering him on the way to the locker room. With that being said, we just have to wait until the MRI comes out. I'll still like to play it safe either way. The Jets have the Dolphins, Bills, Vikings, Vikings and then Broncos. None of those teams have a true legit #1 wideout other than the Dolphins. I rather play it safe and make sure he's 100% by the time he returns.

AFJF
Okay, apparently something happened while I was on vacation and this "incarcerated bob" became important in the world of the New York Jets. I have no idea who he is but I've seen at least a dozen threads announcing his predictions, except...none of them are ever right. What am I missing? He's taking calculated guesses. He got real lucky once and has grown a reputation because of it. Apparently he knows better then Revis himself. Ms. Cleo is that you? SMC
Jackson would still be suspended when the Jets play them I think Jackson will be available then. According to PFT, the NFL & NFLPA came up with an agreement that if Jackson is traded by the trade deadline his 4 game suspension will include the weeks he already missed (weeks 1 & 2) rather than being tacked on to when he finally signs his tender. Greenranger
According to Pro Football Talk, the feeling within the organization is he will miss just the Miami game. I say if he does miss the Miami game and Cromartie does well against Marshall then limit him against Buffalo because I want him at 100% on Harvin. http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2010/09/20/brandon-marshall-could-be-a-lucky-man-sunday-night/

Lee evans is as shifty and quick as they get, no need to rush revis back to play the type of receiver that will test his hammy the most. I think Wilson matches up quite well with evans and the following week against harvin to be honest.
