SenorGato
Couple things I noticed: - Sanchez still tends to stare down his WRs. He had eyes for Edwards from second 1 on the first TD pass. - Still gotta love the 3rd TD pass...option 1 gets taken out hard and before you can blink he's turned around and finds Keller. That's the difference between great playcall and great execution...Sanchez knew where to go once something had broken down...that's a QB's job because things will often break down. - I've been saying for a while now that LT would steal carries from 23. LT adds so much to this offense and it's pretty much the one they ran in SD back before Rivers started doing what a franchise QB does to an offense. He's THE back for this offense, and it's clear he still has something in the tank. I expect Greene to get anywhere from 200-225 regular season carries, and LT to get the vast majority of the other 300-325 or so carries. The idea of Thomas Jones as a true loss is just one of those made up ones to make Jets fans a little more nervous heading into the season. LT's in the GOAT conversation at RB. Thomas Jones has had a couple nice seasons with great OLs. - Probably should just have typed "How 'bout that LT? Thomas Jones who?" - The numbers aren't showing up yet, but Gholston seems alive this year. I like how he's moving. He kind of looks like a football player. I really want him to get this first sack out of the way. - More Keller and Edwards please, especially Keller. Sanchez learning to use his TE will be the largest factor in his development and this offense's development this season. This will all be worlds easier when Holmes gets here in Week 5. That really couldn't come fast enough. - The Dolphins have two LBers that look like troublemakers, and a talented young DL that comes to play against us. What to do there? We're just going to have to find a way on offense I'm thinking...the usual plan of "hope the OL creates holes for the running game so that the running game allows us to sneak a big passing play or two in"...It seems like it'd be a good idea to test the secondary first thing...Davis and that bunch are playing well but that can't be hard to do with a Rice-less Vikings and the Bills. If that works then try to run it down their throats because... - The Dolphins offense doesn't scare me. Both our offense and their offense will probably look similar next Sunday because both defenses are strong and both QBs are young. That said, I think our unit is just straight up more talented. They don't have a Keller at TE...and sure...Dansby or something might take Keller out, but they still have to go out of their way to take him out...our D doesn't have to take a Keller type out because they don't have one...advantage Jets. I trust our secondary to neutralize the Marshall/Bess combo. - Andre Johnson is a monster. I can't wait until that Texans game...it's going to be one of the most fun games to watch this yes and is (arguably) the most important non-division game of the season. nodimwithere
As far as the Fins next Sunday night in South Florida, it should be a really good game. Considering the Jets lost both to Miami last season, and the fact that lots of New Yorkers will be there rooting for the Jets, it should be a barn burner. I think the Jets can win it, but they have to play smart football. That means, no turnovers. Cromartie really played well today for the Jets; so did Kyle Wilson. These two will have to continue good play with Revis out for a while.
SenorGato
Our corners are awesome. We're 2 games into the season and I already have grown to really, really appreciate the depth Rex gave himself there.

I don't think the Jets are going to run that many times, and I definitely don't think LT will out-carry Green 3-2 over the course of the season. Right now, they're about even. Greene's the workhorse, and needs to continue to be. I'm excited about LT's start, but he's not going to finish this strong if he has anywhere near 300 carries this season. I think the Jets will try (and succeed) to keep him well below 200 for the season. If the Jets are going to be doing any grounding & pounding in the future, it's going to be with Greene getting the bulk of the carries.
visajets
Miami seems to want to ground and pound. Sparano throws but if Williams and Brown dont fumble they continue to run.
