ZachEY
No surprise here. Game's too important to let a little drunk driving charge get in the way.

Ghost
This is a mistake. He's a ******* clown and it's not fair that he can do whatever the **** he wants and thinks he can get away from it. I guess this is how he celebrates after having a good game against Butler. It's a shame.

NJ
Just heard on ESPN. Good. It would be foolish to do otherwise. There are many ways to make Edwards pay for his mistake without hurting the rest of the team in a critical game. Hopefully the Jets mgmt and coaching staff will do the right things to help B.E. get his career and life on track and one of the hard things will be telling/showing him that it could be tracking a whole lot better. I'd love to hear one of them rip him big for the dance on Sunday and demand he act like he's been there before. But thats probably too much old school to ask for in this day and age. Lil Bit Special
Smart move by the jets. Doesnt make sense suspending him now and causing issues with the players. Let this play its course and make a decision later.
slats
Hopefully they tar & feather him during the week. Maybe put him in the stockade. The Jets need to make an example of him. This is Anti-Christ stuff we're talking about here.
Guest jNYC1
Unless you drive for a living, a DWI does not result in you being suspended from work! I don't condone drinking and driving but happy he'll be on the field against Miami...
HessStation
Meh, you know I could go either way with this. It's cool but the Jets are going to have to live with this type of MO. That we don't give a sh*t what anyone else has to say, stick it league, we're the ******* Jets sort of thing. Alright I'm cool with it I guess. I just hope fans don't become whiney bitches when this team gets even more negative press than it already does. AAAAALLLL the sharks will be coming out on this one. From the Dungy's to the Fatesca's etc. The soapboxes will be in surplus. **** it though. Just win baby!
THE ILK
Can't wait to hear fatcessa roast him, all while ignoring the fact that the giants did the same thing Kareem McKenzie in 2008!

T0mShane
I giggle now when thinking back to how many times Tannenbaum used to turn his nose up and talk about how the Jets only bring in "character guys." My, how the world changes.
slats
DWI's are a league matter. There's no reason for the team to do anything above and beyond what the league chooses to do - except to feed some weird rabid fan need for retribution. JiF
Winning forgives all. BE is going to have a HUGE game now to make everyone forget. This is all part of Rex Ryan's master plan. This Phags are falling right into it.

Sorry, I'm too insecure to hire people better than me. Sounds like you were quite the athlete. That's a 'negative' check against you. Now, can you hide your drugs from the cops and can you drive drunk? If so, PM me and lets talk.

I don't listen to Fatcessa to hear what he says, rather I just prefer listening to his lungs suck in the air through the microphone under the pressure of his flabby mant!ts when he pauses just long enough to let one of the dumb sh*ts that call his show toss him a lob pitch of stupidity so he can then berate them on air. gg
sorry but this is totally frustrating to me. i have been waiting 40+ years for a SB.. and if benching one WR for one game is going to cost us the lombardi.. so be it.. BUT i just dont want to win a lombardi more then i want to be able to tell my nephew that this is a team with integrity.. with role models.. Braylon was partying with Donte Stallworth right before he got in his car, and went out there and killed a guy drunk driving. Guess he didnt learn anything. OY!
