Aqua4ever04
I've been posting sparingly around here lately, thought I would check in as the fan you all love to hate for Dolphins week for you guys. What are your thoughts heading into this game? Are you guys confidenct or suspect? Not trying to get a rise out of anyone, just want to see the moral of Jetnation. Vicious89x
I think it's going to be a nail biter of a game and have no clue how it's going to end up. Could go either way and for me depends on which D scores points.

NYJ37/12
I think the JETS are in a bad spot with all their key injuries. No Pace, Jenkins, Revis, and an injured Taylor, Mangold, and Smith. Does not look too good for the JETS. if the fins dont win this game, they should be ashamed.

Could go either way and for me depends on which D scores points. It's going to be a great defensive match up. The Ravens showed how to keep Sanchez off his game, and I think the Dolphins defense can rattle him, but at least you all showed some offensive life last weekend. We've been playing not to lose football to hold onto our lead. It is amazing that we both have young quarterbacks, but the fans expect them to be 5 year veterans. It's going to take them time. NYJ37/12
problem with honesty?? it is what it is, no excuse. the fins are too tough of a team to be limping into their building on Sunday night of their home opener. I really dont know how the JETS will survive.
slowmoe57
Henne does not worry me -- and we can stop Brown -- Hopefully this time our D can stop the pussy cat plays -- and your most explosive weapon against us last year Ted Ginn is no longer on your team. I see a close defensive game but I honestly believe the Jets squeak one out this time.

NjJets4027
I think its going to be an easy win... Everyone is bugging out about Marshall and how we have no answer for him..etc.... I flatt out refuse to believe that a guy who has yet to get a touchdown so far this year and could only post 50 yards on a ******* horrible Bills defense is a threat. This guys is more a pussy than the dolphag fan who started this thread! So Phag Fans..? Who else you got in yer bag full-o-dicks that is going to put numbers up against us? adamprez2003
you would think this would be a low scoring affair with both teams defensively minded but I expect the same type of game as last year's first meeting where both offensive coordinators pull every trick out of the book. I think the Dolphins will win this but it should be close enough that key turnovers decide it.

s dubb
Jets got to the AFC championship game without Jenkins. We shutdown the Pats without Revis, we'll make due without Pace. The Phins are no threat. They should have took a L our last game at home. They were fortunate to win that game. I don't expect the running game to work and without their beloved running game they will get smacked. No one is scared of B.Marsh. Every week there is a new threat, every teams got their elite wideout. Every week they usually get shut down. I really can't see them winning this game. The first time we met (last year) in Miami we weren't totally ready to stop the kitty. Game 2 we shut the sh*t down and we hurt ourselves. Game 3 it's a done deal. Dolphins are going to choke. 24-10 Jets. Dolphins score on a fumble return for T.D and a FG. Mark Sanchez can't be stopped. SUCK IT B*TCHES! DrownTheJets
When did this turn into a Dolphins forum? Our defense will fight for that inch. Our team has all the momentum defensively. slats
I don't like the fish. I'll be very disappointed if the Jets don't win this game. Miami's playing it's home opener in their sexy orange threads with a 2-0 start already under their belts playing their most hated rival. The crowd is going to be pumped, and the fish will be feeding off of that. The Jets weathered the storm last week against NE for a quarter, and may need to do the same thing this week. Ideally the Jets would get a quick score themselves to shut up the crowd, but I don't see that happening. Wish Revis was available to shut down Marshall, because I have no doubt in my mind that he would do that very effectively. But the fish don't have so many weapons that the Jets won't be able to scheme against them without their star CB. I bet Braylon has a big day. The Crusher
Miami could easily win this game... But they won't. Because of Jason Taylor, or as I call him Sweet J-Tay. He is going to dance his way to Henne and bitch stomp him, into a puddle of Aqua and Orange poo. I hope he throws the ball at the Fish logo too, I LOVE J-TAY. Aqua4ever04
Crowd wise, the Jets. You are sadly, sadly, mistaken. rillo
Another must win for the Jets, Miami has all the momentum 2-0 start, home opener. Jets have to weather the storm, contain the run and keep a safety deep to keep Marshall in check. Sanchez has to step up again this game, the Phins will stop our running game. JiF
I've watched both teams the first 2 weeks in their entirety and think I can give a fair unbiased opinion. Honestly, I dont have a winner picked, if I had to right now, I'd probably lean toward the Phags. First home game, Sunday Night, tons of momentum, got the Jets number, the Jets are limping in...going to be a tough win for both teams. Things that scare me about the Dolphags offense - nothing. I've watched and there really isnt any reason we cant shut them down. But I thought the same thing last year and Henne lit us up. Everyone wants to think that the Ronnie lit us up last year, but he really didnt. He only average a little over 3ypc in both meetings combined. He did have 2 TD's in the first meeting but his ypc was around the mid 3's and after the first series we handled the wildcat well. However, he's off to a good start and making a struggling Oline look good. Ricky looks done. And outside of B Marsh, there is nothing really to scare you though Fassano isnt terrible, we should be able to handle him. Their offensive line hasnt really started out well. You can get to Henne and they are not dominating the run block like they did last year. Things that scare me about their Defense - nothing. You can run all over the Phags, no problem. Starks can pass rush, but he gets beat at the LOS on run plays consistently. Overall, the defense is pretty slow, nobody that really runs around the field making play after play. There is definitely a pass rush to be concerned about, but I'm not too concerned since we've already faced the Ravens who pose more of a threat in that dept than the phags. But all together, they seem to make plays when needed. There is no knocking 2 4th down stops and goalline stands against AP. They seem very opportunistic scoring in 2 straight games, but the Vikings moved the ball well. Couldnt really tell if the D was getting stingy around the goal and 3rd downs or if the Vikings and Favre just sucked...probably a combo of both. If the Jets team that showed up in the 2nd half of the Pats game takes the field Sunday night, should be a win. But one half doesnt sell me. Overall, none of it matters cuz its Jets/Phags and all talent/records and conventional wisdom are out the window.
Jetsfan80
Seems to be a fair assessment JiF. Thanks. It appears to me that the Dolphins are a team that really doesn't scare anyone, but then its the 4th quarter, you find yourself trailing and they find a way to win. I'd rather have Revis, but I'd be surprised if Marshall is that much of a factor.

A young Leonardo DiCaprio captivates tweens with his star-making role in Titanic. And, for reasons that remain unknown, Dolphins nation is amped about the star running back for the University of Texas.
Bruce Banner
If week 1 Jets show up we lose, if week 2 Jets show up we win. I think the Ravens are worse than people think they are and the Pats are better and you have to take that into account when judging the Jet performance in both games. If the offense plays like in week 1 again I'm not sure if the Jets can finish above .500 much less beat the Fins. But seeing the Sanchez-Keller connection get going last week gave me a lot of optimism. If those two can get on the same page the Keller haters will have to eat their words. And if Braylon, Keller, LT and Sanchez all play well this team can score well north of 20 points on any team in the league. But I honestly don't know which Jet team will show up.
