Jetfan13
Jenny Vrentas of the Newark Star-Ledger reports that Jets wide receiver Braylon Edwards could face revocation of his Ohio probation if he is convicted of the DWI he was arrested for last week. In January, Edwards pleaded no contest to aggravated disorderly conduct, a first-degree misdemeanor, for punching a party promoter last fall. Edwards was placed on 18 months of inactive probation, meaning he does not have to report to a probation officer. He was also given a suspended 180-day jail sentence and a $1,000 fine. By rule, individuals placed on probation in Cleveland are not allowed to drink. But even though the criminal complaint states that he had "watery and bloodshot eyes" and the scent of alcohol on his breath, those details have not yet been proven in court so do not yet constitute a violation. Cleveland Municipal Court will take no action against Edwards until the DWI case is adjudicated. If he is convicted, he will be called back to Cleveland and faces up to six months in jail and a $1,000 fine.
Greenranger
He's screwed. Thank god he's a UFA and we don't have to put up with this in the offseason.
THE ILK
As I thought, his probation is not over, he got 18 months not 6. So he may face jail time, after all.

But lucky for the Jets that will be after he's an UFA. Unless, of course, Braylon beats the rap somehow.

That negates any chance he might have had to beat it, and plea for a reckless

I doubt it, but that's what it sounds like they're going to try.

We should have known something was wrong by the fact he was close friends with Rhodes. Those 2 aren't Mensa candidates.
Bruce Banner
I can't believe he risked jail time just to get drunk at a club. What goes on inside the heads of these people? Jail, thats the place where people try to put their penis into your butt. Don't go there.
