had to be mid-90's here is another one drums...

Digging that one too. I can definitely hear the Bruce Springsteen influence. Good stuff.. I am happy to hear some of your harder stuff even though I think you are awesome with the acoustic and have a great voice either way. I also like the stories about how you came up with the songs.

Here's another one from the unreleased Jimi D-Bo And Tropical Storm EP. This is perhaps the best song I've ever written-I also wrote and played the lead that I rocked on my black and white Rickenbacker 360...

THE MAN ON THE HIGHWIRE

All eyes upon him, drum roll please

the spotlight follows as he climbs with ease

up one step, two steps, and higher still

he reaches the platform with nerves of steel

and what drives this man, what inner fire?

he's The Man On The Highwire

he's a death defier

he's The Man On The Highwire

With arms outstretched to the crowd he waves

the tightrope walker fixes his gaze

one foot's placed first right then left

his every move all eyes detect

and what drives this man, what inner fire?

he's The Man On The Highwire

and he's a death defier

he's The Man On The Highwire

Is he crazy or is he brave?

and will it all fall down one day

and what drives this man-what inner fire?

he's The Man On The Highwire

and he's a death defier

he's The Man On The Highwire

he's The Man On The Highwire

he's The Man On The High......wire
