RutgersJetFan
At the New Brunswick Hyatt no less, which is nuts. That's the biggest hotel in town and is right smack in the middle of the city, it's impossible to miss. Big after-party spot for Homecoming weekends and such. Seen many a room destroyed in that building. This is a pretty sad one. I'd seen Giraldo live twice and the guy was just an incredibly smart and astute comedian. sirlancemehlot
RIP mr. Geraldo. You were funny and made us smile--and laugh. Sad to see a comedian die from his own heartbreak. Legalize it my a$$. you'll be missed.
slats
Always the funniest guy on those CC Roasts. What a shame. He always joked about excessive alcohol abuse, and there were always jokes toward him about how funny he was but how was never going to break thru, anyway. Gotta wonder now how much truth there was there, and how much he was hurting over it. Tragic.

SenorGato
I had no idea he went to such prestigious schools (Columbia and Harvard law). It doesn't mean sh*t, but who knew?

Aten
I had no idea he went to such prestigious schools (Columbia and Harvard law). It doesn't mean sh*t, but who knew? Evidently it meant sh*t to the HR department of basically the most prestigious corporate law firm in the world.
JustInFudge
The only reason why I knew this guy was because of those roasts which he was by far the funniest...but never saw anything he did out side of that.
RutgersJetFan
Evidently it meant sh*t to the HR department of basically the most prestigious corporate law firm in the world. Explain. Because I remember seeing an interview with him one time where he basically said he doesn't like talking about his time as an attorney.

JohnnyHector
Explain. Because I remember seeing an interview with him one time where he basically said he doesn't like talking about his time as an attorney. His point was that, despite Gato's musings to the contrary, Giraldo's degrees from prestigious schools got him a job with Skadden, which is one of the largest and most powerful law firms in the world. A degree might just be a piece of paper when you're applying for a pizza delivery boy job, but it does matter when it comes to other career paths.
