SoFlaJets
There were a lot of guys here who figured we might start out maybe 2-2 at best-if we can come out of this first quarter at 3-1 with 3 division wins we might just HAVE something special this year. To think that we are down to 3/4 strength on defense too...how many teams could withstand losing their best CB, starting NT, and best pass rusher and still start out this way-name me one team. SoFlaJets
Here I thought this was an official vision thread. not yet TBJ-I'll let you know if and when one does come. I will say this though from a football standpoint I am predicting the Jets will be blitz happy and will sack that QB at least 6 times Sunday. Oh yea and how about The New York Jets playing a 1PM game again-I was starting to get used to us playing night games. Remember when it felt like under Mangini that the only games we had a chance at winning were 1PM games?
slats
Unless you've had another psychic vision, I don't think we should be counting any chickens just yet. Losing to the Bills this week would be exactly the sort of thing the Jets frequently tend to do. They just laid 30 points on the Pats in NE. They're the team that handed Sanchez his worst game as a pro last year. I hope they're approaching this game with a sense of urgency. It's a divisional road game -a tough, big deal- and should not be placed in the win column until it's won.

ZachEY
Jimmy, when was the last time the Jets swept the Bills in a season series? The good news is, we only need to beat the Bills once this weekend. We can talk about sweeps come january.

You cant take any team lightly....the Bills always give us fits for whatever reason. Can't let them hang around like last year.

SoFlaJets
we ALL know that Buffalo is never a given which is why nobody on the Jets are taking them lightly. With that having been said Buffalo's OL is it's weak spot and that's why I can see Rex and Pettine dialing up a whole bunch of blitzes to take some of the pressure off of the DB's. Fitzpatrick is slow and the Jets should be able to sack him a half dozen times-oh yea Calvin Pace is out of the practice field this morning according to Twitter-so that's good news
slats
And the highest scoring team in the NFL after 3 weeks is? Your defense would probably move from #28 to #32 in a hurry if they ever had to face your offense, huh?

Rex is a better coach than that. It might be a close game.. the Bills seem to be right in these games, but I say we kill em.

SoFlaJets
...second in their division. talk about grasping for straws-who CARES about these kind of stats anyway? The Jets have the next to last 3rd down defense in the league but like Rex said about Miami's receivers "yea they had great numbers but couldn't put it in the EZ when it counted"
sirlancemehlot
No Way. You did not just make a "we're 3-1" thread when we still have to play the game to get us there. Every superstitious bone in my body just tingled, vibrated, and two or three actually broke. Please apologize, delete this thread, make an offering to the Gods and light a candle for every responding post. This hex is deep, my fiend. So deep it'll put your butt to sleep.
